Events and Partnership Coordinator

Random House Experiential Events and Partnerships Coordinator resides in the Integrated Marketing Publicity Department. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-starting candidate with keen interest and expertise in Events and Brand Partnerships with a strong focus on event execution. This candidate will working closely with the PR and Marketing teams be creative, collaborative and nimble with a focus on maximizing social media to promote events and reach readers. The candidate will work across the entire Random House division imprint portfolio (including Random House, Ballantine Bantam Dell, Del Rey, One World, Crown, Clarkson Potter, Ten Speed, Convergent) to execute a wide variety of both consumer facing and industry focused special events.



  • Assist with execution of event details
  • Work closely with integrated department on author and title campaigns goals
  • Assist in researching creating experiential opportunities for discovery and amplification
  • Work closely with the consumer analytics team on insights and trends reports and integrate into events development and execution
  • Create programmatic events with ROI positive goals
  • Develop creative social media content and assets for partners
  • Continuously seek out new and creative opportunities for event integration across the imprints
  • Communicate effectively internally across all levels of publicity and marketing
  • Additional responsibilities include participating in select travel


Required Skills:

  • At least of 2 years prior experience in coordination
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to multitask and anticipate needs successfully.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
