Assistant, US Learning and Development (Hybrid)

The Assistant, US Learning and Development is the backbone of the Global Learning and Talent Development Team, ensuring that all day-to-day operations are running smoothly and taking ownership over ongoing programs to maintain a service-oriented approach and high-quality delivery of our core US programs and offerings.

 

This role will report to the Director, US Learning and work in close partnership with the larger Learning and Development team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all US-specific training logistics and support while partnering closely with the Director to conduct ongoing learning needs analyses, scope out opportunities for further program development based on business demands, and deliver high quality programs.

 

The specific job role responsibilities include:

 

  • Coordinate training and development solutions including liaising with internal and external trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on learning topics, scheduling, setting up and managing courses via the Learning Management System (LMS), preparing materials, managing assessment processes and setting up the best learning environments including: 
    • Virtual - Creating the Zoom/Teams links and breakout groups, organizing and coordinating the overall production of sessions
    • In-person –Book rooms, liaise with the relevant departments to organize catering, equipment, and technology set up

 

  • Take on program management responsibilities for programs like Onboarding and the Mentor program

 

  • Manage the evaluation process for all training and programming including organizing debriefs with internal trainers, sending out evaluations and following up with participants to ensure completion, analyzing results, and proactively sharing emerging themes with the L&D team.

 

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with the US HR team, trainers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify emerging needs, review and edit training materials, and facilitate the timely completion of project deliverables.

 

  • Process invoices in a timely manner and support the team in monitoring the annual budget
     
  • Be the first point of contact for learning queries through the learning inbox and offer thoughtful, service-oriented responses to employee questions
     
  • Manage the Educational Assistance process and ensure accurate delivery and support to learners
     
  • Manage Learning and Development calendars cross-functionally
     
  • Establish and maintain Learning records and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of attendance, feedback and other important learning metrics

 

  • Maintain the Intranet Learning pages and Learning collections

 

  • Work on Learning and Talent projects or assignments as appropriate.

Development Opportunities:

  • Begin to hone advisory and consultative skills by evaluating current business needs and partnering with the team to identify and addressing emerging learner and business needs
  • Build skills and experience running all aspects of training and development programs from scoping and design to delivery and evaluation and administering of assessments and feedback
  • Develop facilitation, training, and project management skills to input into the design and delivery of new learning and development initiatives

 

This hybrid position has in-office responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting with Learning & Development events, attending trainings and meetings, and other essential duties as necessary. We will consider candidates who can work from a commutable distance to our offices at 1745 Broadway, which includes the surrounding areas (NY, NJ, CT, & PA)

 

The salary for this position is $48,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results. Please include a cover letter with your resume.
