Publishing Pathways: Marketing

 

Are you a professional with five or more years of full-time work experience hoping to leverage your passion for books into a new career? 

 

Designed for working professionals, Publishing Pathways is a free, seven-week, educational program for people with five or more years of work experience who are interested in learning about Penguin Random House and the publishing industry. Our evening panels feature professionals in Art and Design, Marketing, and Sales who will share their path to publishing, a day in the life of someone in their role, and the skills they look for when hiring a new team member. Participants in the program will also have access to proprietary learning materials, meet 1:1 with professionals in their desired field, and have their cover letter and resume reviewed by members of our Talent Acquisition team.  

 

The program, which runs from July 1, 2025- August 15, 2025, consists of three (3) phases:  

Phase 1: Attend evening classes/workshops/panels related to marketing in the publishing industry. (July 1-10)

Phase 2: Two Informational interviews with Marketing professionals at Penguin Random House (July 14-25)

Phase 3: Cover letter and resume review by a member of the  Talent Acquisition team (July 28 -August 15)
