Supervisor - Shipping 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes daily priorities set by manager
• Monitors the activities of employees
• Monitors the flow of work
• Plans effective personnel placement
• Monitors the training of new and existing personnel relating to standard operating procedures and system changes
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures and enforces as deemed necessary
• Actively involved in resolving departmental challenges
• Maintains attendance and disciplinary records
• Ability to learn new warehouse system programs as necessary
• Completes special assignments as requested

 Qualifications:

• Solid work ethic with overall good attendance and safety record
• Must have ability to foster and promote an atmosphere of teamwork
• Prior leadership/supervisor experience preferred
• Detail oriented & attention to accuracy while maintaining deadlines
• Analytical & problem-solving skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills required
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• PC proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
