Provide assistance in frontlist acquisitions, distribution and sales, efficient author care and delivering on the budget

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

INDIAN PUBLISHING LIST (Frontlist)
For titles acquisition for the Indian list, the profile requires:
•    Working with the editorial team - on acquisition, profitability, sales ambition and packaging
•    Working with the marketing team - on successful execution, delivery and conversion of marketing plans into sales
•    Working with the inventory and production team to ensure optimum stock availability, with minimal opportunity loss
•    Presenting & Discussing the Trade Letters to Sales team and key customers on a monthly basis
•    Author care

INDIAN PUBLISHING LIST (Backlist)
To manage availability of the key backlist titles locally, the profile requires:
•    To identify backlist titles through the sales trends and relaunching them at the right opportunities, i.e. rejackets, reissues with updates etc.
•    Working with the inventory and production team to ensure optimum stock availability, with minimal opportunity loss
•    Backlist availability in the market and plan thematic with sales team

BUDGETING & FORECASTING:
•    Assist in preparing title wise yearly budgets (including front list as well as key backlist titles) and regular forecasts of the frontlist and backlist titles

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

•    7 to 9 years of relevant experience
•    Well versed with MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•    Fluent in English – both written and verbal
•    Preferably a reader
