OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for better discoverability and sales for our books on online channels by optimization of product pages including SEO.

EXTERNAL : Amazon Other External Platforms
ROLE CONTRIBUTION AREAS
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Organic metadata ownership - Optimise existing product listing pages on Amazon by improving on descriptors, image and organic, keywords such that our books appear higher on Amazon’s search result listings organically (without paid search campaigns)
• Responsible for complete and keyword optimised product listings and the relevant positioning of our products on Amazon.
• Responsible for consistent improvement in IDQ(Item Data Quality). Actively conduct agile page optimisation of our products on Amazon.
• Monitor and analyze ASIN performance, rankings against relevant search terms, ratings and customer reviews and make recommendations to enhance rankings and performance to drive sales. Work closely with editorial, marketing and AMS team to advise on effective A+ pages, AMS opportunities for relevant titles
• Responsible for circulating product Affiliate links to all stakeholders for forthcoming titles on pre-order
• Responsible to ensure all required fields are correctly optimized in coordination with internal stakeholders – as per set guidelines in B3 and Amazon product page requirement.
• Support new initiatives & identify new opportunities in online sales to drive business growth
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
1. The profile should have 2-3 years hands on experience in SEO, ideally on ecommerce platforms like Amazon
2. Must have extensive experience of improving product search rankings on Amazon, generating higher conversion rates through SEO
3. Must have created, implemented and managed Product Page Listings, Product Page Keywords, Product Page Titles, Product Page Description, Value Proposition and Product positioning, Trust Factors & Customer Reviews Strategy and Product Page Optimization
4. Data Driven - Comfortable with managing and reading data related to search terms, optimisation and applying those learnings to better product page optimisation
5. Comfortable with handling large volumes of requests – we have over 5000 front list and backlist titles
6. A love for books and stories
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
