Digital Marketing Executive - Digital Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our Digital team, based in North Sydney. Working within a creative digital team of designers, marketers, video editors and social media experts, you will devise and publish innovative digital marketing content for campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a truly creative and collaborative environment at Australia's largest publisher.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Sending messages to support ongoing PRH marketing campaigns via email and the web. 
  • Identify opportunities to create and produce original content to fit our reader’s needs. 
  • Oversee day to day updates of PRH Australia’s website and eDMs. 
  • Report on the outcomes of website content and eDMs and identify new opportunities to connect with readers. 
  • Evaluate campaigns and distribute the results to the marketing and publicity team. 
  • Maintain a particular focus on finding new and non-traditional book audiences and growing the eDM database
  • Work with the wider team to ensure cohesive and holistic campaigns are produced
  • Collaborate with the other marketing and publicity teams, and the publishing, sales and product teams to create compelling copy that resonates with target audiences
  • Suggest local content stories to help drive Penguin's brand awareness.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven email marketing platforms, Klaviyo experience a plus
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including audience segmentation and performance tracking
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and effective content
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
