Naked (a Fremantle label) are looking for a Production Executive to work across multiple Factual and Factual Entertainment productions and developments.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Draft budgets and schedules for developments and new productions.
  • Be involved in negotiations with broadcasters and key stakeholders on a project-by-project basis, ensuring effective collaboration between production/editorial, legal/finance teams and other third parties as appropriate.
  • Engage and line manage multiple Production Management teams.
  • Monitor and control productions through to delivery, ensuring that production teams adhere to agreed budgets, schedules, and delivery dates.
  • Work with the production teams to drive efficiencies, resolve cost/schedule issues and challenge actual or potential risks.
  • Together with the key editorial team and Business Affairs executives, ensure that appropriate paperwork is prepared for the commissioning process i.e. editorial specs and ensuring that they accurately reflect treatments.
  • Balance editorial aims and delivery requirements with financial and resource constraints through effective planning, monitoring and control of the production portfolio.
  • Be involved in talent negotiations as appropriate, liaising with Legal and Business Affairs to establish key deal terms i.e. residual structure, options and ensure compliance with obligations in line with broadcaster agreements.
  • Liaise with Health & Safety advisors to ensure best practice on productions including during development/production planning where appropriate.
  • Ensure that set up and close down of productions is managed effectively.
  • Review risk assessments, casting protocols, duty of care protocols and Covid protocols.
  • Produce monthly cost reports in liaison with Production Accountants and PM teams.
  • Produce fortnightly internal Production Updates and monthly Production Schedules for Senior Management.
  • Ensure compliance on all programmes with broadcaster guidelines and other regulations, liaising where appropriate with Legal and Business Affairs, senior editorial staff and broadcaster compliance departments.
  • Ensure that all the required individuals are in place for productions and properly contracted.
  • Work with HR department to ensure compliance with current employment legislation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure that appropriate training is arranged for members of Production Teams.

 

We’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Production Executive or a minimum of 4 Line Producer credits on Factual or Factual Entertainment series.
  • Experience of drafting budgets for BBC, ITV & Channel 4 (additional broadcasters desirable)
  • An individual who is able to prioritise and multi-task and is not fazed by being across multiple busy productions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with a range of programme tariffs from daytime high volume series to high end prime time productions.
  • A solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and employment legislation best practice.
  • A passion to nurture production team talent and guide them to reach their potential.
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively, with excellent communication skills.
  • A flexible and proactive problem solver.
