Job overview

This role key to ensuring that all digital materials are stored, created and delivered according to contractual timescales and specifications. This role is the main contact for all digital materials initiatives and enquiries internally and externally.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Project Management of Dubbing work:

  • Liaise with dubbing studios, broadcast clients and internal Sales and Marketing teams to organise quotes and negotiate dubbing fees
  • Liaise with internal Sales team to sign off on agreed fee and get the approvals from Legal and Finance
  • Take responsibility over follow-up, tracking, data entry and maintenance of all database information including dubbing and material delivery schedules
  • On approval of the fee, project manage the dubbing process and be the main point of contact throughout
  • Liaise with the dubbing studios and the client for the cast voice selection
  • Review the translated script and low-res dubbed version screener before sending to the client to ensure and double check no issues found
  • Liaise with the client and dubbing studios for file rejections and QC made by client
  • Ensure the schedule and delivery timetable are met and dubbing is of a high standard
  • Ensure the dubbing studio will deliver to us and the client all the materials as per contract
  • Liaise with Visual Data to ensure all the dubs materials have been correctly registered and stored
  • Contact production companies when new titles are acquired
  • Answer any questions regarding delivery requirements
  • Manage and oversee quality control processes with external vendors
  • Take delivery of the new titles
  • Liaise with producer to solve issues if required

 

On successful completion of the delivery:

  • Archive international masters
  • Update internal and external stakeholders
  • Use accepted masters to service orders to distribution clients
  • Service international requests relating to the masters
  • Assisting the team to input new masters onto the company’s in-house database system
  • Manage the quality compliance process by liaising with producers and facilities houses
  • Proactively research and implement digital processes and systems upon managerial approval, that support the business objectives
  • Upload on FMS portal screeners and promo
  • Service tape orders

We’re looking for:

  • A person who thrives in at times a high pressure environment, loves to multi-task and can be calm and quick thinking.
  • Experience with dubbing work, ideally in German
  • Demonstrable experience of working with and initiating digital material solutions
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital technologies and software available to support programme material distribution
  • Self-starter who can equally thrive in an environment where they need to take the initiative and initiate change or take instruction from their line manager
  • Excellent communication skills, maintaining and building relationships
  • Monitoring emails and some work outside of normal contracted hours is required, mainly dealing with stakeholder in different time zones
  • Fluent German language skills
