About Imaginae Studios

 

Imaginae Studios is a brand-new, fully independent label inside the Fremantle family. Its mission is to push the boundaries of storytelling by producing shows that are conceived, developed and finished end-to-end with state-of-the-art AI tools, while upholding Fremantle’s gold-standard approach to IP protection, compliance and global distribution.

 

Overall Purpose

The inaugural CEO will have the rare chance to build a studio from a blank sheet, setting the strategy, culture, operating model and tech stack that will define AI-native production for years to come.

What Success Looks Like

Launch & Scale the Label

Incorporate the entity, establish governance, and deliver a 100-day plan that secures early wins.

Recruit & Lead a World-class Remote Team

Assemble a diverse, globally distributed staff of creatives and producers; install agile processes that thrive across time-zones.

Define & Execute an AI-First Content Strategy

Set a bold creative vision for what AI storytelling can become. Select best-in-class generative-AI and synthetic-media tools, develop an IP slate, and shepherd projects from ideation to delivery.

Own the P&L

Build budgets, secure financing, and hit annual revenue/profit targets.

Navigate the Fremantle Relationship

Act as primary interface with Andrea Scrosati and Fremantle’s central functions (Legal, Finance, HR, Brand & Marketing, FMI) ensuring strategic alignment while preserving Imaginae’s creative independence.

Champion Innovation & Compliance

Embed ethical-AI and IP-safe practices; stay ahead of emerging regulation.

 

Knowledge and Skills

Creative Technologist: Proven record turning AI capabilities (text-to-video, diffusion models, AI audio, virtual production, etc.) into finished entertainment products.

 

Builder’s DNA: History of standing up new ventures, studios or product lines—ideally in scripted, unscripted or immersive media.

 

Global, Remote-Native Leader: Comfortable leading fully distributed teams and working fluidly across cultures and time-zones.

 

Change Catalyst: Thrives on challenging orthodoxies, experimenting fast and learning from failure.

 

Relationship Navigator: Adept at board-level stakeholder management and external partnerships (tool vendors, cloud providers, talent agencies).

 

Credibility & Gravitas: 5+ years senior leadership; able to attract top talent and command industry attention.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Deep fluency in generative-AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway, Pika, Sora, Goggle Veo, ElevenLabs) and cloud MLOps pipelines.
  • Track record delivering commercially successful content with innovative tech.
  • Solid understanding of rights management, data-privacy and ethical-AI frameworks.
  • MBA or equivalent strategic/financial acumen a plus.
