DK International - Sales Assistant (DK Learning)
Ready to be a key player in our international sales team? Join us as a Sales Assistant, where you'll support our efforts to promote DK Learning's educational materials to global markets.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful sales assistant, who is highly organised and eager to learn about the world of publishing. You will work between DK International, where you will assist the team to generate revenue and deliver global reach, and DK Learning, our educational publishing division.
You will play a crucial role in building DK Learning’s reputation as a trusted provider of curriculum aligned content. You will work closely with our sales team to build connections with customers, generate leads, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead generation activities to identify potential opportunities and target audiences in international markets.
- Manage customer contact information to enable effective targeting of communication campaigns
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales presentations, managing customer databases, and tracking sales performance.
- Support the organisation and attendance of conferences and trade shows.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Handle sales orders, invoicing, ad-hoc queries and other administrative tasks.
Prior experience in a customer facing role is desirable, but not essential. You will be a digital native, comfortable working with data, and experience of working with CRM systems or similar would be an advantage. This is a great opportunity to interact with customers and key stakeholders, so someone who is confident in approaching new people is required.
This role is perfect for those who are eager to learn and experience the world of international sales. Although admin-based, you will be able to develop a deep understanding and knowledge of sales, with opportunities to work directly with customers, not just support them.
If this sounds like you, please apply with your most recent CV and a cover letter by 13 January.
Salary: £27,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits
We have a range of benefits to reflect our commitment to our people, some of which are:
- 25 days paid holiday entitlement in year one, plus bank holidays
- Generous pension scheme
- Volunteering policy and charity matching
- Employee assistance programme
- 60% discount on company books
- Cycle to work scheme and discounted gym membership
- Flex Fridays (1pm Finish*)
- Shopping discounts
- Up to 30 days remote working from abroad
