DK International - International Sales Manager (Export)

In this exciting role, you'll be part of our vibrant Export team within the International Sales Department—an energetic, diverse group passionate about sharing our stunning books with readers worldwide.
You will be the key driver for sales of DK and Sourcebooks titles across Germany, Austria, Benelux, and the Nordics. You will be responsible for growing our business within these markets and achieving annually varying sales targets. Plus, periodic international travel will be part of the adventure!
Other responsibilities include:
- Organize and participate in customer meetings, showcasing our compelling projects both remotely and in person, while attending major international book fairs.
- Forecast and exceed sales targets, actively contributing to our Global Export strategy and International growth plans.
- Negotiate enticing discounts and promotions with customers to secure the best deals.
- Collaborate with accounts on wholesaler catalog submissions, maximizing marketing opportunities alongside our creative in-house Marketing team.
- Manage customer orders and queries, troubleshooting delivery issues with precision and teamwork.
- Dive deep into market research and build strong relationships with potential customers, all while gathering valuable market insights.
Our ideal Sales Manager will have strong commercial awareness, to support sales budgeting. You will be able to analyze revenue growth drivers and identify key opportunities and areas for improvement.
You should have strong experience in international sales, with a stellar record of expanding market reach and boosting revenue. Your exceptional negotiation and presentation skills have made you a master at pitching to clients and stakeholders worldwide. You will possess analytical skills that allow you to interpret market data and craft winning strategies, all while showcasing remarkable time-management skills—juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines with ease.
Bonus points if you speak an EU language, especially German!
