Your Mission

As the Director (f/m/d) of Global Finance Technology & Data, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial landscape. Your mission is to lead our global technology initiatives, with a primary focus on elevating our financial data structures and advancing our forecasting capabilities using Pigment. Working with cross-functional teams, you will design and execute a sophisticated data strategy for the finance domain, ensuring the delivery of unparalleled insights and leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide a clear view of our business health.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary product owner for the Pigment platform, owning its architecture, release management, environment strategy, administration, and vendor relationships to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Maintain and evolve driver-based forecasting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis in Pigment, owning the calculation engine to ensure forecasting outputs reconcile to the GL and consolidated reporting.
  • Define and execute the integration strategy between Pigment and the finance data landscape, including ETL/ELT patterns, APIs, data contracts, and monitoring.
  • Establish and run governance for model validation, testing, reconciliation, SLAs, and data quality to ensure compliance, controls, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Business Units, and executives to translate business needs into a prioritized Pigment roadmap and drive user adoption.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a small, cross-functional team of Pigment modelers, data engineers, and analysts, running an agile delivery cadence to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating processes, optimizing performance, and evaluating new tools and advanced analytics or machine learning opportunities.

 

What We Are Looking For 

  • Proven experience leading finance-technology or FP&A systems development, with ownership of a planning or forecasting platform at scale.
  • Hands-on Pigment expertise, including model architecture, advanced formulas, workspace design, API/integration, and platform administration.
  • Deep expertise in data modeling and warehousing, with a proven track record of implementing complex data structures.
  • A strong grasp of business planning, financial forecasting processes, and financial statements, with the ability to align data initiatives with strategic financial goals.
  • Extensive experience with financial systems and data analysis tools, showcasing a deep understanding of the intersection between finance and technology.
  • A unique ability to bridge the gap between technical data science and strategic financial planning.
  • A commitment to staying current with the latest trends in technology and finance to drive innovation.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau to create impactful visualizations and insights.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
