IT Infrastructure Administrator

We are looking for

IT INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR

As IT Infrastructure Administrator you will be a part of Arvato Systems Latvia Service Operations unit and a member of our Custom Application Services team, who focuses on delivering 3rd level support in healthcare area, providing high quality services to our customers all around Europe. You will be responsible for troubleshooting servers, monitor systems, working closely and establishing global connection with colleagues in Germany.

General responsibilities:

√ Taking care of customer issues and track the case via ticket-systems

√ Resolution of technical incidents, advising and supporting the customer in consideration of functional requests

√ Dispatch and track tickets for the 2nd level and Developers

√ Analyze and debug processes

√ Monitoring system status regarding memory, CPU and IO

√ Analyze and interpret Application Log-Files

Job requirements:

√ Fundamental knowledge in Linux and Windows systems

√ Ability to work with operating systems and handle files and folders

√ Basic knowledge in using command line interfaces and vi editor

√ Fundamental knowledge in Database systems

√ Basic administration Know-How

√ Advanced user skills in creating and analyzing SQL statements

√ Experience with Applications and Architecture

√ Ability to read XML, like SOAP or WSDL Network

√ Basic knowledge regarding the TCP/IP Stack

√ Ability to monitor and evaluate application health checks

√ Knowledge regarding network infrastructure, components like routers, switches and firewalls

√ Relevant IT studies

√ At least 3 years of relevant experience

√ Excellent communication skills in English

√ German language knowledge will be considered as an advantage

√ Analytical thinking and problem solving

√ Ability to work both – independently and in a team
