Sales Director

As the Sales Director, you will have an opportunity to build, develop and manage a high-performing sales team. You will utilize your abilities and expertise to create a roadmap and framework for building relationships with key stakeholders and developing a pipeline for the business. With support from the global and regional teams, you will review Arvato’s current portfolio and develop an actionable sales strategy for the region, identify targeted markets and execute against the sales plan for direct and channel sales. You will be expected to drive revenue growth by increasing sales with current and prospective clients and manage the complete sales process – lead generation, qualification, sales pursuit, and closure. You should have a proven track record and expertise selling IT Implementation Services specifically within the eCommerce and/or ERP sector.

 

Roles and Responsibilites:

 

Sales

 

 

  • Increase revenue growth and lead a culture of sales excellence
  • Drive the consistent implementation and adoption of sales processes, pipeline management, measurement or success KPI’s and sales performance.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and deliver upon accurate revenue forecasts through effective management of sales team.
  • Develop network of strong relationships with key industry influencers, customers and partners.
  • Maximize sales opportunities and support the digital transformation of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of the native industry and trends affecting or influencing the marketplace.

 

Leadership

 

 

  • Drive sales team results and ensure synchronicity across the team
  • Foster an inspiring and high-performing sales culture with a clear vision, great account management and team collaboration.
  • Interacts with senior management levels at clients and within our company, determines pursuit strategies, and develops perspective client messaging plans and relationships
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments

 

Travel

 

  • Willingness and ability to travel 35% of the time.

 

Qualification and Educational Requirments:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in selling and closing deals; developing new business and providing solutions to meet clients’ needs.
  • Minimum of 4 years od experience within enterprise IT services industry and lead generation
  • Minimum of 3 years leading a sales team and driving accountability for execution.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance, measured against revenue, customer satisfaction, and organizational metrics
  • Ability to build consultative effectiveness and establish trust
  • Strong Business acumen and ability to translate complex solutions.
  • High energy drive and ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Flexible and proven team player capable of delivering value in a start­up like environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with C-Level client relationships
  • Proven and documented record of sales success in professional services and technology space.
  • Experience leading a team and collaborating with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring
  • Retail and consumer product industry experience
