Senior Data Scientist - AI Forecasting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• You will design, model, and optimize AI models with a focus on anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and image processing, while also supporting GenAI projects.
• You will lead smaller data science projects and take full ownership of the results.
• You will create interfaces or integrate models into existing software solutions.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and improve existing models.
• You will ensure the quality of work results in terms of output quality, code quality, and documentation.
• You will stay up to date on current developments in data science, particularly in the areas of time-series models, generative AI, and NLP technologies.
• You will support and mentor junior colleagues to help them reach their potential and actively contribute to team development.

Job Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Python 3.11+, including advanced proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, PyTorch, and Streamlit.
• Proficiency in time series forecasting models and image processing, with a willingness to explore GenAI use cases.
• Experience with widely-used tools such as Scikit-Learn, Transformers, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Solid experience with Git for version control and Docker for containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data-bricks.
• Expertise in prompt engineering for effective generative AI solutions, with knowledge of Langchain.
• You have experience leading smaller data science projects and can independently manage them with full ownership of the results.
• You love designing and implementing efficient data processing workflows, ideally with modern tools.
• You are open to new technologies, especially in the field of Generative AI/NLP, and are always ea-ger to develop your skills further.
• Excellent English skills are required, as we work in international teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
• Excellent German language skills are preferred.
