Test Automation Engineer (I)

Without people whose heart beats for IT, it does not work. As an internationally active IT Service provider, we are therefore looking for you as a (Intermediate) Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Brasov. Of course, you can also work mobile, e.g., in a home office.

You will be part of a 70-person QA team, which ensures high quality for our diverse projects and products at 9 locations in 4 countries. We are all united by the passion to make our software even better day by day and thus inspire our customers. Close cooperation within the agile development teams is just as much a part of our self-image as the use of modern technologies in the area of test automation.

What tasks await you:

• As part of the team responsible for QA in one of our development areas, you will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for functional and non-functional requirements and providing and interpret test results
• You will actively participate in the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test cases as well as plan, monitor and report on the test execution phases
• You drive test automation for the assigned products
• As part of our large QA community, you will participate in the evaluation of new trends and help ensure that our QA team is properly positioned for the future.

Who we are looking for:

• You have a few years of experience in the area of quality assurance (test automation) and have already worked as a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
• You ideally also have experience in the area of software development
• You enjoy testing technically and professionally complex systems
• Fluent English and optionally German round off your profile

Requirements:

• Must:
  • Experience with one or more test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework)
  • Experience with Java or other Object-Oriented Programming languages
  • Experience in test case specification (i.e., not only TA programming)
  • Confident in capturing functional requirements from various sources (e.g., diagrams, continuous texts)
  • Confident in understanding reading of modelling languages (UML, BPMN)
  • Basic experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps/Jenkins, GitHub workflows,).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Good English skills

• It's a plus:
  • ISTQB certification
  • German skills
