Senior Technical Test Engineer

As a Technical Test Engineer with a passion for IT, you’re exactly where you belong! We are an internationally operating IT service provider and are looking for a Senior Technical Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our 90-person QA team. At 9 locations across 4 countries, we ensure high quality for our diverse projects and products. We are dedicated to the passion of improving our software every day and inspiring our customers. Close collaboration within agile development teams is just as much a part of our philosophy as the use of modern technologies in test automation.

Responsibilities:

• Designing suitable test procedures, supporting their implementation, and continuous improvement as part of the team responsible for QA in one of our development areas.
• Actively participating in the creation, maintenance, and execution of test cases, planning, monitoring, and reporting on the test execution phases.
• Driving test automation for assigned products and continuously improving it.
• Defining, generating, and providing the necessary test data.
• Creating bugs and helping with root cause analysis.
• As part of our large QA community, participating in the evaluation of new trends and helping ensure that our QA team is positioned correctly for the future.

Who we look for:

• At least three years of experience in quality assurance and previous experience as a Test Engineer (m/f/d).
• Solid knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Ideally, experience in software development
• Knowledge in Linux, networking, and TLS is an advantage.
• Enjoys working in an international and intercultural team.
• Takes pleasure in testing technically and professionally complex systems.
• Fluent English is required for effective communication with an international team.
