Senior IT System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Local IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a Local IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations of our company's IT infrastructure at the local level. This position will play a vital role in supporting our employees and maintaining a reliable IT environment to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide First-Line Support: Respond to IT support requests from employees and assist with hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software problems on workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
• Installations and Configurations: Setup and configure computers, peripherals, and software applications for new employees or existing users as needed.
• Software Support: Assist users with software-related inquiries, provide training when necessary, and ensure that all software applications are up to date.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, procedures, and knowledge base articles for efficient issue resolution.
• IT Team: Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate complex issues and work on larger IT projects.
• Conducts technical performance and security assessment of systems, network and databases (ISMS).
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT support to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Expected profile:

• Degree or above in any field, preferably in Computer Science or IT related field.

• Minimum 4 years of working experience, result oriented and is capable of global approach to technology management.

• Excellent working knowledge and exposure to IT hardware, firewall, networking, window server.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• ITIL Foundation certified.

• Domain knowledge on the following vendor products, Cisco, Fortigate, VMware ES

• On-call availability

• 4/5 days per week office presence required
