SAP basis engineer

As an internationally active IT specialist, we are looking for you as a SAP Basis Administrator (m/f/d).

The team you will be joining all share a deep understanding of SAP Basis technologies and enjoy designing the best possible solutions for renowned companies. 

What tasks await you:

• You will be involved in a variety of tasks related to the conception, implementation, and operation of technical solutions in the SAP Basis area.
• The system technical support of SAP systems in self-responsible teams, including database administration, will be in your hands.
• You will supervise and be responsible for the complex SAP landscapes of our internal and external customers and process service requests in day-to-day business.
• Together with team members from different departments, you will assess projects for their feasibility, estimate efforts, and then take over the technical implementation.
• You will strengthen and expand our OnPremise and Cloud operations, e.g., in AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Private Cloud.

Who we are looking for:

• Do you have a degree in computer science or a comparable education?

• Have you already gained professional experience in the SAP Basis area?

• Are you familiar with the operating systems Linux and/or Windows and one of the databases SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase, or DB2, and have you already gained experience in performing installations, upgrades, and system copies?

• Ideally, have you already had contact with one of the following areas: Solution Manager, Business Objects, or SAP PI/PO?

• Can you express yourself confidently in both spoken and written English? German is a big plus!
