Project manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Software Services team. The Project Manager will play a critical role in delivering successful projects, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting the growth and development of the business unit. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT services and software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the Software Services department.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resource allocation.

2. Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT services market.
• Develop proposals and presentations to pitch potential clients.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive business growth.

3. Client Relations

• Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
• Oversee the quality of project deliverables to ensure they meet or exceed client expectations.

4. Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Identify skill gaps and organize training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

5. Strategic Planning

• Work with the BU Lead to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities and market trends to drive the business forward.
• Develop business cases for new projects and initiatives.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure that all operations and activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Fluent in both German and English. 
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the IT services industry.
• Strong understanding of IT services and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with client relationship management and business development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
