Operation Control Center Consultant

 

Job responsabilities:

 

  • You will support and monitor the systems, services, and applications of our customers, both in the Arvato Systems Data Centers, in the cloud, and remotely on-site.
  • You will manage IT production on all deployed system platforms, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
  • You will handle job scheduling, backup and recovery activities, as well as regular maintenance and administrative tasks.
  • You will operate and manage the deployed service management systems.
  • You will be responsible for service management according to ITIL standards.

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • You have completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) in system integration, a degree in computer science, or a comparable vocational training with professional experience.
  • You have initial experience in IT support/service management, preferably including internships.
  • Ideally, you bring knowledge in operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows Server, as well as database systems, internet services, and network structures.
  • You are willing to work in a 2-shift system and demonstrate a service-oriented work and communication style.

Early Shift  08:00 - 16:00 (RO timezone)

Late Shift 16:00 - 24:00 (RO timezone)

  • You have very good German and good English language skills.
