Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is hiring an HR Generalist to provide support by advising managers, supervisors and employees in all HR practices. This position will provide guidance across employment law, recruitment, induction, performance management, change management and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this role will have Human Resource experience in a Supply Chain environment and be comfortable working/communicating with all tiers of employees. Candidates with backgrounds that include employee relations, payroll, HR reporting, recruiting and benefits administration are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provides Human Resource support to the key services Business Units in the areas of:
- Recruiting – Partners in the preparation of job descriptions and posting open positions. Also drafting offer letters for new hires
- Responds to Employee Relations issues – reviews employee and manager issues and works with HR and business leadership to resolve
- Responsible for Employee on-boarding, conducting new hire orientation and administering departure/exits
- Competency building – supports efforts to administer Training & Development opportunities to internal clients
- Supports Leaves of Absence and Workers compensation administration
- Performs compensation and benefits administration
- Coordinates workers compensation administration
- Tracks and schedules mandated employee training
- Tracks performance management process
- Tracks bonus processes
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of previous experience as an HR Function
- Experience in a warehouse/distribution/logistics business
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year timekeeping and payroll system experience (Ultipro and Kronos a plus)
Preferred Qualifications & Key Traits:
- Strong technical capabilities (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills across all verticals
- Experience in business partnership role, embraces teamwork; shares ideas/methods to improve performance
