What will you do as a Project Manager at Arvato?

As a Project Manager for our configuration center, you will be the single point of contact and responsible towards the customer for one of our specific services as well as acting internally as key intersection between Operations, IT and Engineering. For this position we are looking for an experienced leader to join our team. 

Your goal will be to provide the highest quality service for our customer by establishing best-in class processes targeting on returns, SKU transformation, SKU conversions, wiping and reimaging while maintaining optimal cost structures. Due to the complexity of these services, you will act as a technical coordinator and will work closely with IT. Together with IT you make sure to maintain the hardware and to develop policies and strategies effective for the timely resolution of technical or procedural issues. 

In addition, the focus is on driving continuous improvement, including supporting the development and change process for business unit focused.

Furthermore, your responsibilities consist of:

• Act on customer firm ware and office application updates and general network and hardware improvements
• Maintain production, quality, and security requirements of the configuration center
• Develop the capabilities and functionalities of the configuration center;
• Support staff to ensure a competent and effective workforce;
• Ensure work operations conform to acceptable technical standards of quality service;
• Develop policies and strategies effective for the timely resolution of technical or procedural issues;
• Clear and transparent reporting towards director management and customer.

Qualifications you bring with you as a Project Manager
You have the ability to build relationships with the client and internal teams, ability to strategically review internal capabilities and understand existing or potential competitive advantages.
Furthermore, you have experience in working with fast paced clients and the ability to clearly define scope and process deliverables. Moreover, you have:

• Progressive responsibility in manufacturing, logistics and/or program management.
• Experience with postponement activities;
• Knowledge and reading scripts/coding (e.g., PowerShell) and able to translate the error message that occur to the next actions that need to be taken;
• At least 1 year of ERP Systems experience required, SAP preferred;
• Highly proficient IT skillset including operating and managing system databases;
• Excellent communication skills (intern and extern);
• A practical mind-set and good analytical skills in conducting analysis to identify and resolve technical and procedural problems;
• Experience in Server, Storage and Server Rack integration is a plus.
