Position Summary: 

Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is hiring detail oriented Technical Operators handle technical devices to prepare for technical operations.  This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment as well as the ability to use a computer. Come join our team where you can take pride in your work and exceeding customer expectations. These are first and second shift positions working Monday - Friday.  Holidays and over time, including weekends, will also be required as needed.  Must be flexible to work both shifts and up to 12 hours per day when needed. 

 

First Shift:  6:30am - 3pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Second Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Overall Responsibilities:  

  • De-kit and handle devices in order to prepare for technical operations
  • Creation of traveler documentation for devices
  • Wipe and Re-image devices (laptops, tablets, phones or equivalent by following documented work steps
  • Recording the results of tested devices via software and hard copy records (use of White Canyon, Blanco or I-auditor a plus)
  • Re-boxing and kitting of devices and preparing for putaway into storage locations
  • Determine whether finished product meet quality standards for customers
  • Work independently with a sense of urgency and purpose
  • Make decisions based on quantity of work and required finishing time to meet shipment deadlines
  • Maintain neat and orderly workspace
  • Use of SAP/ERP for inputs and outputs
  • Any other task as directed by the supervisor

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of previous work experience, preferably in a warehouse enviornment handling high tech devices or manufacturing type of environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Maximum unassisted lift 35 lbs., average lift, less than 10 lbs.
  • Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, RF scanner and calculator
  • Requires the ability to communicate verbally
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
