Position Summary:
Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Solutions Design Project Manager. The Solution Design team is responsible for designing and implementing complex supply chain management solutions. We understand our client business models and design solutions in close cooperation with them, and then subsequently implement the solution. Due to our continued hyper growth, we are looking for a strong project manager who can drive critical projects and requests for proposals with minimal supervision as part of the global solution design team. This position is a critical success factor for our growth. You will be working with our clients from day one, working closely with senior management and have global career options.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive projects and RFP’s to on time delivery with a focus on quality. You will have knowledge of supply chain management, feel comfortable working in an open, dynamic and international environment. You will need to utilize strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, while being a team player who can communicate effectively, both internally and with clients. Having the ability and willingness to travel as needed is required. You have an open mind set to try out new things and to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a communication bridge between non-technical business users and technical solution designers

Elicit and document functional requirements
-
Develop and document technical system requirements
-
Review and document business processes, understand objectives, develop questions to clarify gaps and develop initial hypothesis specific to a specific solution design that solves our customer's needs & delivers unique value

Work with internal stakeholders and client the underlying business need and effectively communicate the design and solution to them

Data validation, cleansing, profiling, baseline development & defining scenarios to model

Support system design and development that’s aligned with business objectives & deliver financial value to our clients

Lead technical design sessions; identify gaps between current and desired end states

Prepare realistic, practically valid, versatile test data

Calculating labor, equipment, facility and expense requirements based on transportation and warehousing design assumptions.

Develop process flows, concept of operations and value propositions consistent with the win strategy and work with IT to develop concept of systems.

Coordinate with technical subject matter experts (SME) within Arvato to obtain specific knowledge or expertise to address technical issues

Coordinate with controlling and other functions to develop cost and pricing models as well as relevant assumptions

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Support technical review presentations and design validation meetings

Ability to influence the project teams by using facts, statistics, and analytics

Comprehend complex supply chain and transportation solutions and segment design processes into manageable elements and process steps

Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients

Ensure requirements and business solutions map to a business need

Assists with documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer between technical teams and end-users

Helping the RFP team with shaping wins plans consistent with our solution design

Writing and delivering a compelling proposal that influences the customer decision to select Arvato
-
Participate in a variety of analytical assignments that provide for the enhancement, integration, maintenance and implementation of Department of Treasury’s policies, procedures, and information systems.

Participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required
If you have any of these experiences, perfect. But it is not critical:

Working with companies in Tech and Consumer Products industries

Managing RFPs
-
2-3 years’ experience in solution design analysis and or Project Management
-
2 Years Arvato experience
Education/Experience:

BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or Masters preferred
