Global Account Director

Main tasks/responsibilities: 

  

Financial 

  • P&L ownership and accountability for P&L results. 
  • Full engagement and collaboration with finance and operations teams on a global basis to ensure complete financial oversight of the account. 
  • Generating new revenue opportunities through further supply chain integration with existing client solutions. 

  

Account Management & Leadership 

  • Full ownership for Client Engagement and negotiations at a senior level. 
  • Develop client presentations. 
  • Directs & ensures achievement of all client metrics, reporting and invoicing. 
  • Ownership of Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers giving feedback on key Supply Chain elements such as Scorecard Results, Corrective Actions, Market Trends and future initiatives. 
  • Direct line management for Account Managers associated with this P&L and dotted line reporting for ACM’s operating on a global basis in the country. 

  

Account Development 

  • Lead Business Development Initiatives with this client and oversee RFQ’s related to this client.  
  • Create a scalable environment to onboard additional business streams within the unit.  
  • Develop & implement strategic account plans with clear objectives to increase account penetration. 
  • Initiate & oversee Process Improvement and Change Management Projects to support the customer and internal business.  
  • Work with other global HiEnt & SCM sites to develop and perform an assessment of Supply Chain processes, develop new propositions and present to the customer and internal stakeholders. 

  

Other 

  • Treat all customer information in a confidential manner and comply with all Security & IT Policies in relation to the protection of company and customer information. 
  • Based on your current job role, or any role assigned to you by your manager, you will have access to the Arvato and the customer data that is relevant for the completion of your role.  You are not entitled to access, or seek to access, Arvato or customer data that is not directly associated with your job role.  You must treat Arvato and customer data in line with our Data Classification processes but if in doubt you should default to treat all Arvato and customer data as private & confidential.  You must comply with all Security & IT Policies in relation to the protection of Arvato and customer data. 
  • You will comply with Internal Policies & Procedures and with our ISO certification requirements. 
  • You will be required to be flexible in this role and must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management. These tasks may be outside your normal work area. 

  

  

Essential Requirements: 

  

Technical Competencies 

  • A track record of successful business relationship management at a global level. 
  • The role requires an individual who understands how to get things done in a large, complex organization through influence and collaboration. 
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and provide alternative solutions to complex problems. 
  • Strong information management, analytical skills and project management skills (process improvement & change management). 
  • Ability to create strong client presentations. 
  • Experience in an SAP Distribution Environment. 
  • Strong ability to present new concepts to a wide global audience with cultural diversity, communicate clearly and concisely across all communication settings. 
  • Significant experience or progressive responsibility in large, complex organizations with relevant Supply Chain experience. 
  • Extensive knowledge of managing inbound and outbound supply chain in a multichannel environment
