As a Management Trainee within Arvato, you will gain valuable experience within Logistics in combination with exclusive training courses and real-life assignments. You will be able to develop your competences and skills on professional level while being personally guided and coached.


Arvato acknowledges that one size, doesn’t fit all. Therefore, you will start your traineeship based on a Personal Development Plan. This custom sized plan is based upon your expertise and ambitions. Together, we will determine which path is the best match to reach your goals. That is because we believe that by 'being on it' you will find out where your strength and passion lies! The traineeship at Arvato lasts a period of approximately 18 months. 

During your traineeship, you will receive valuable soft skill trainings from a senior trainer. You will strengthen your personal leadership skills, improve your professional communication skills and gain the best negotiation/stakeholder management techniques. We organize intervision sessions for our Management Trainees to reflect upon your experiences and learning curves. Hard-skill trainings are organized on topics such as Lean, Legal and Finance.

Besides these training opportunities, a lot of your development takes place during working hours. You will work on challenging real-world assignments, how cool is that?! 


Hopefully you’re convinced already that Arvato is the place to be for the start of your career. But to really make sure you don’t have any doubts anymore, we will sum up some of the real-life cases you will be challenging during your Traineeship;


  • Analyze financial results and assess profitability. What are the drivers? 
  • Carry out a market analysis. 
  • Come up with an idea to improve the EBIT.
  • Assess the activities for an account and come up with at least one improvement suggestion. 
  • Review a customer request for contract modification: what is the impact on capabilities and how does that look commercially? 
  • Improve a process topic: make sure that the inbound KPI for an account can be achieved. 
  • Assess a contract: Customer wants to make investment requiring contract extension. 
  • Working on RfQ (Request for Quotation) and RfP (Request for Proposal).


What you will bring to the table

You are at the starting stage in your career where you have a strong desire to further develop your existing experience, abilities and skill set in a dynamic, international and high tech environment. The following are some of the key skills, attributes and experience that we would like to see:


  • Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or Logistics;
  • 0-2 years of work experience;
  • Commercially driven;
  • Flexible;
  • Hands-on mentality; 
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English.


What we offer
We offer you a challenging traineeship, tailored to your needs and amibtions, where you combine learning by assignments with learning by doing. It is a full-time position for 40 hours a week. We have a non-contributory pension, which means that on average you have a higher net salary compared to other companies! In addition, we offer:
