Key Account Manager - DK Sales

Key Account Manager 

 

DK is the world’s leading illustrated non-fiction Publisher and we’re seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to join us on our mission to move the world forward, one book at a time, by championing new thinking and creativity and putting the customer at the forefront of what we do.

 

Unlike any other area within the Sales department at DK, this position sits in a team responsible for selling all our titles, across all our lists, in every format. Reporting directly to the Head of Online Sales, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Amazon account while managing some of your own online accounts for ebooks and audio.

 

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Implementing effective strategies to maximise sales and revenue growth from key accounts
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while also fostering growth and upselling within existing accounts
  • Preparing compelling presentations and delivering them to customers, showcasing our latest titles
  • Building strong relationships with our key accounts to drive greater sales
  • Providing timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to keep management informed
  • Addressing all customer queries promptly and professionally 

 

This role will suit an expert organiser with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload whilst also able to handle a number of competing deadlines. You’ll be comfortable working with Excel so meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks is key, as is excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with customers and a number of internal teams that you will be in contact with on a regular basis. Working in Sales, you should be self-motivated and results-orientated.
