Material Handlers

Job Duties

· Read work orders to determine correct customer specifications of cartons, pallets, and piling patterns

· Operate electric/manual pallet jack

· Perform general house-keeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, maintaining equipment oil/lube levels)

· Troubleshoot Quality or Operational defects

· Flow-to-work, including but not limited to assisting Trimmer/Binder Operator as needed

· Complete necessary shift reports

· Perform Operator PM tasks.

Required Skills and Education

• Basic Computer Skills
• 2-3 of manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Basic reading and math skills
• High degree of initiative and attention to detail required
• Ability to lift 40-50lbs
