Campus Resource Coordinator - Sacramento

Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Campus and Student Services or their delegate, the Campus Resource Coordinator provides administrative support, on-site IT and facilities assistance, and operational aid to students, faculty, and staff. Serving as a liaison and point of contact, the coordinator supports various university services such as IT, Student Advising, Campus Operations, and Admissions.

 

This on-campus position entails providing 70% administrative and customer service support, along with 20% IT support and 10% facilities management responsibilities. Office hours vary with evening and weekend rotations required. Infrequent/limited, if required, support is needed on other campuses.

 

Starting Salary: Non-exempt position at $30.77 an hour ($60,000 annualized) based on experience and geographical location. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service role. Preference will be given to those with experience in a technology-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•           Fulfill all assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

•           Monitor prospective and current student support queues; conduct phone calls, help walk-ins, and respond to emails regarding university services and programs.

•           Assist with Student Advising tasks.

•           Perform computer-related deployment and maintenance tasks.

•           Support faculty, staff, and students with computer-related problem evaluation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

•           Monitor and resolve tickets through the IT helpdesk and Alliant Integrated Services.

•           Organize and input data into databases.

•           Coordinate various events with campus and regional directors, including those for prospective students, professional development, and student engagement.

•           Address application and enrollment inquiries from the public.

•           Maintain positive relations with students, faculty, and staff.

•           Keep accurate records and documentation, including notes in CNS/Salesforce for communication tracking.

•           Provide feedback on process improvements based on stakeholder input.

•           Assess students' needs and provide appropriate support.

•           Perform additional duties as directed by the Associate Campus Director/Student Advisor, including project planning and general administration.

•           Manage attendance rosters according to university policies, initiate retention procedures, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

•           Ensure timely communication to faculty, students, and staff through appropriate channels.

•           Prepare classrooms, equipment, and facilities for daily activities.

•           Assist with room reservations.

•           Support the campus in the absence of the Associate Campus Director/Student Advisor.

•           Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

Direct Reports:  None.

Indirect Reports: Student Assistants.

 

Contact Responsibility:

Internal: Interacts with supervisor to receive direction and instructions and/or review of work results.  This position with work closely with colleagues in multiple departments including faculty, IT, facilities, as well as other University Campus Managers and Directors to support both students and colleagues in achieving student success and department goals. 

 

Primary Work Location, Hours & Travel Requirements:

Office Location:  On Campus.

Work Hours: Standard office hours, this is a 37.5-work week, vary with evening and weekend rotations required.

Travel:  Infrequent/limited, if support is required on other campuses.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work environment is in a standard office setting. Frequently exposed to low to moderate noise, various odors, temperature changes, and equipment with moving parts, including but not limited to computers, phones, printers, and other standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to execute the physical activities required to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not limited to, regular sitting and being mobile; continual communication both in person and on the telephone; regular keyboarding; regular reading of both print and digital material; lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects such as computers, chairs, and classroom furniture, as well as other activities necessary to fulfill all essential functions.
