SUMMARY:

This role is part of the team that owns the design of all Relias products. Its goal is to meet the capabilities of the product as defined by the business and ensure a useful, usable, and enjoyable experience for our users. This role will specialize in designing and optimizing user experiences for Relias’ Experience Management (XM) platform, ensuring seamless integration, intuitive workflows, and data-driven insights that enhance engagement and satisfaction.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

•    Working closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate concepts into user flows and wireframes, design mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences optimized for the Experience Management platform, including survey workflows, analytics dashboards, and integration touchpoints, ensuring usability and scalability across client environments.
•    Contributing to product strategy by prototyping concepts related to core and new functions and features.
•    Independently leading user research efforts, including both qualitative (e.g., interviews, usability testing) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, usage data, A/B tests) methods to validate design decisions and optimize XM workflows; synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform design priorities. 
•    Refining processes to improve the user experience continuously. Collaborate closely with design counterparts on the Relias Platform to ensure XM designs align with platform standards and maintain a consistent, unified experience.
•    Managing stakeholder expectations and needs to keep teams aligned and deliverables on track.
•    Seeking out feedback from peers across the organization to improve your own skills.
•    Other duties as assigned.

 

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

•    2+ years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    Experience with standard UX software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UX Pin, Balsamiq, or Frame                                                                                                                              

 

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:

•    Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
•    Experience designing solutions for complex SaaS products, especially in a healthcare context.
•    Foundational HTML5 and CSS skills

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
