This role contributes to improving efficiency, reducing manual work, increasing data visibility, and supporting compliance across Legal processes, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), matter management, and document management systems. The Legal Technology Analyst supports Legal-side system configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day platform operations, while partnering with IT and Security on infrastructure, identity, and enterprise integration standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
•    Administer and support Legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM, matter management, document management), including configuration, role/permission administration and system optimization
•     Build and maintain simple to moderately complex workflow automations using tools such as Power Automate or similar platforms; support more advanced automation initiatives in partnership with senior team members or IT
•    Serve as Legal’s subject matter expert (SME) supporting vendor-led implementations and major enhancements, including requirements definition, solution validation, configuration review, testing/planning oversight, and go-live readiness; support vendor evaluation, negotiations, and implementation with technology vendors on commercial, support/SLA and security-related terms with guidance from IT/Security as needed
•    Coordinate with IT and external vendors to support integrations between Legal systems and enterprise platforms (e.g., CLM, Salesforce, ERP, DocuSign), including testing and issue resolution
•    Troubleshoot system issues, manage incidents, coordinate with vendors, escalate complex problems as needed, and ensure timely resolution of technical problems
•    Support data integrity, reporting, dashboard development, and audit readiness, and compliance requirements within Legal systems (including metadata standards and controls)
•    Participate in system upgrades, releases, testing cycles (UAT), and change management activities; publish release notes and maintain a repeatable test and deployment approach
•    Develop and maintain documentation, process maps, configuration standards, and knowledge base materials; establish lightweight governance for changes to templates, workflows, and system configuration
•    Drive adoption through end-user training, office hours, and enablement materials; manage enhancement intake and prioritize work in coordination with Legal leadership and stakeholders

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
•    Strong understanding of Legal Operations processes including contract lifecycle management, matter management, and outside counsel management
•    Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SaaS (cloud-based) business applications
•    Familiarity with system integrations and working across connected platforms enabling secure data exchange between platforms
•    Demonstrated ability to build and support practical workflow automations to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency. Understanding of data structures, relational databases, and reporting tools
•    Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across systems and vendors
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system configurations, workflows, or process improvements
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, including maintaining system data integrity and metadata standards utilizing information security, access controls, and data governance principles
•    Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
•    Clear communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, IT, Finance, and external vendors in a collaborative environment; ability to support end users and explain technical concepts in a clear, approachable way
•    Familiarity with Agile or structured project delivery methodologies
•    2+years of experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications, Legal technology platforms, or similar systems
•    2+ years of experience configuring and administering workflow-based systems (e.g., CLM, CRM, ERP, ITSM, or similar platforms)
•    Experience implementing or supporting system integrations using APIs or automation tools such as Power Automation or CoPilot Studio
•    Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis
•    Experience participating in system implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements
•    Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Legal Studies, Computer Science, or related field

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
•    Experience supporting Legal technology platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Agiloft, Icertis, Onit, SimpleLegal, DocuSign CLM, or similar)
