Job Description
The Client Communications Specialist will help manage and support the mass customer communications and digital engagement activities of Client Care. Responsibilities will include working with internal stakeholders to create comprehensive communication plans, collateral, and digital communication channels for both clients and internal groups, owning the client communications strategic plan and operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Working with other departments to craft and deliver operational communications to clients on behalf of Relias.
• Collaborating with the Customer Marketing team on communications strategy and alignment in messaging, cadence, and recipients.
• Manage the process for creating content for and delivering the monthly client newsletter.
• Making recommendations to improve the client experience through development and adoption of communications best practices.
• Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting communication effectiveness
• Being an advocate for Relias clients when it comes to determining what, how, and when important events or information should be communicated to our client base
• Leverage AI for content creation to draft, refine, personalize, and optimize client communications while ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and appropriate human review prior to distribution.
Qualifications
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• Client Relationship Management - ability to effectively manage and nurture client relationships to achieve mutual success
• Client Discovery - ability to understand a client's needs and challenges, assessing the fit for the solution(s), and building a foundation for successful engagements and a long-term relationship
• CRM Tool Management - proficiency in utilizing CRM tools to manage clients, track interactions, maintain accurate records, encompassing all data, processes, and workflows to complete job duties and serve as a central repository for information that supports sales, marketing, customer service, and other customer-facing functions
• Communication - skills and abilities necessary to effectively convey and exchange information, ideas, and feelings between individuals or groups using various verbal and non-verbal methods to deliver messages clearly, accurately, and appropriately, while also actively listening and understanding the messages received
• 2 years related experience managing client communications strategy and developing client communications.
• Strong project management skills and a proven track record of managing multiple projects with sometimes overlapping deadlines
• Proficient in customer marketing and software communications software or platforms
• Proficient in SalesForce and Gainsight
• Advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM platforms
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
• Experience working for SaaS companies
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects
• SaaS client communication and/or customer service experience
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters (close to the Raleigh/Durham airport) approximately 30 days/quarter.
