The Accreditation Specialist submits initial applications to accrediting boards for approval and maintains approval through a formalized renewal process. The specialist is accountable for all aspects of maintenance related to submission, recordkeeping, and reporting. An Accreditation Analyst demonstrates competence, confidence, and accountability with accreditation-driven processes that align with organizational strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 
•    Identify resources needed to complete applications and submissions to meet set deadlines
•    Ensure accuracy and completeness to applications and submissions
•    Communicate effectively with the external accrediting/regulatory agencies
•    Identify appropriate target audience for the content being submitted
•    Research content to ensure appropriate references are documented for submission
•    Create timed agendas for content
•    Submit documentation efficiently and in a timely manner
•    Track and follow-up with accrediting boards and agencies
•    Assign certificates within the learning management system (Site 1 and legacy sites)
•    Maintain accurate data in QuickBase
•    Accurate and timely reporting to all external agencies
•    Maintain accurate project task and time tracking in QuickBase
•    Other Duties 
•    Train and mentor new members of the team, when applicable
•    Participate as a liaison within the same department and with other internal/external departments
•    Serve as a lead-person for other members of the team

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    1+ year of experience working with accreditation boards/bodies within Relias
•    Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•    1+ year of experience working in QuickBase
•    Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
•    Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with Content team, Product team, and SMEs
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Ability to work autonomously
•    Ability to take constructive criticism and apply it toward professional development
•    Ability to remain calm and diplomatic
•    Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects
•    Critical thinking and ability to problem solve independently

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
