Senior Marketing Manager, Audio (6-month FTC)

The role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to cover a sabbatical in our award-winning team in the fastest-growing segment of publishing. This is an opportunity to build valuable knowledge of the audiobook market to grow your career in publishing. You’ll have experience developing engaging and highly effective marketing campaigns that deliver results. With a love of all things audio, you’ll be brimming with ideas to reach new and existing listeners, and able to flex your talents across both marketing and publicity.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the audiobook catalogue marketing strategy (titles published over 12 months ago) to reach new and diverse audiences.
- Working closely with our key audiobook retail partners on trade marketing for leading authors and narrators.
- Managing audiobook marketing and publicity campaigns for the biggest titles in the book industry.
- Identifying opportunities to create content for authors, narrators and media that drives conversation about our audiobooks.
- Communicating plans with stakeholders across the business building buzz and maximising opportunities for collaboration and reach.
- Managing and mentoring two campaigns executives.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
- A real interest or passion for audiobooks
- Confidence in your approach and ability to represent the Audio team in inter-departmental meetings
- Proven track record of delivering marketing and publicity campaigns in a publishing/entertainment environment
- An aptitude for people management
- Excellent organisational, attention to detail and prioritisation skills, juggling multiple projects and campaigns at once
- Excellent communication skills, both written and in person
- Focus on budget and value for money/ able to demonstrable analytical ability and financial awareness

Salary
£42,000 - £52,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you are in the Embassy Gardens office a minimum of 2 days per week.
