PRH UK

Sales Operations Coordinator (FTC until May 2026)

Do you get a kick out of helping people?  We’re looking for an International Sales Operations Coordinator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys variety in their job, to join the team on an 11-month Fixed Term basis (end date May 2026).

Sales Operations are involved in supporting the entire sales process from new title sell-in preparation to supplying to the end customer.  This means working closely with internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure that orders reach customers at the right place, the right price and at the right time.

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth-running of the International Sales Operations team.  You’ll work across all our publishing lists – everything from fiction to non-fiction, by way of cookery, poetry and children’s – playing a key part in getting our stories into our customers’ hands.  Tasks can vary from ensuring an order reaches Brazil in time for an event, to exploring supply options with our global PRH Group companies.

Key responsibilities:

  •  Managing orders from our customers across the world and tracking large volumes of data.
  • Checking and providing accurate data such as stock availability and delivery dates
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues in different departments, particularly Production and Inventory to help deliver the best possible service to our customers
  • Managing the processing of orders in SAP (one of our internal systems) whilst ensuring work is complete within deadlines and publication schedules
  • Producing reports in Excel and checking customer claims
  • Carrying out other ad hoc team support when required.

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria:

  • Organised and proactive with excellent time management skills.
  • Clear communicator, friendly, and helpful.
  • Attentive to detail and able to balance urgent priorities with regular tasks.
  • Successful at managing deadlines.
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Ability to work with customers and a range of colleagues.

Preferred criteria:

  • Strong MS Excel skills

Disability Confident

If you have opted into our disability confident scheme, the above “essential criteria” section is the criteria you must meet to be considered for our interview scheme. Please note, there may be occasions where the volume of applicants means we can’t take all eligible candidates to interview.

Application instructions

Please apply with your CV and cover letter outlining why you are the right candidate for the role by 11:59pm on 23rd June.

  1. Please ensure you include a cover letter, as it is a crucial part of our assessment process. The cover letter offers an opportunity to show how your experience and interests align with the role requirements. Typically, we expect the cover letter to be no more than one or two pages in length.
  2. Please note we are looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible, but we are also happy to accommodate a reasonable notice period for the right candidate.
  3. We anticipate a two-stage interview process which will include a virtual first-stage interview and in-person second stage interview. We are happy to discuss this further with you throughout the recruitment process.
