The role

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth-running of the International Sales Operations team. You’ll work across all our publishing lists – everything from fiction to non-fiction, by way of cookery, poetry and children’s – playing a key part in getting our stories into our customers’ hands. Key responsibilities:

· Managing orders from our customers across the world and tracking large volumes of data.

· Checking and providing accurate data such as stock availability and delivery dates

· Collaborating closely with colleagues in different departments, particularly Production and Inventory to help deliver the best possible service to our customers

· Managing the processing of orders in SAP (one of our internal systems) whilst ensuring work is complete within deadlines and publication schedules

· Clear communicator, friendly, and helpful.

· Attentive to detail and able to balance urgent priorities with regular tasks.

· Successful at managing deadlines.

· Comfortable with technology and eager to learn.

· Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel

· Ability to work with customers and a range of colleagues.

Disability Confident

If you have opted into our disability confident scheme, the above are the essential criteria you must meet to be considered for our interview scheme. Please note, there may be occasions where the volume of applicants means we can’t take all eligible candidates to interview.

Please apply with your CV and cover letter outlining why you are the right candidate for the role by 11:59pm on 3rd August 2026.

« Please ensure you include a cover letter, as it is a crucial part of our assessment process. The cover letter offers an opportunity to show how your experience and interests align with the role requirements. Typically, we expect the cover letter to be no more than one or two pages in length.
