Apprentice Business Administrator (18-month FTC)
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and collaborative individual to join our International Credit Services Accounts team as an Apprentice Business Administrator!
In this role, you will support the team with administrative duties within the sales ledger and engage in project work to resolve customer disputes. Your efforts will ensure the smooth operation of our credit control processes and contribute to the overall success of the department.
As an Apprentice Business Administrator, you will gain valuable experience in credit control while working in a collaborative environment that values your contributions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigation of customer claims/queries through to resolution
- Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to both internal and external customers to establish timely resolution of queries.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and Sales teams
- Sales ledger reconciliations
- Liaising with Credit Controllers and Managers.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
- Highly numerate,
- Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Highly organised, able prioritise own work load within tight deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- PC skills-Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
Preferred criteria:
- Grade C/4 in Maths and English
How you are able to evidence the relevant skills in your application:
- The use of IT Packages - such as writing emails, letters, proposals, spreadsheets etc.
- Record and document production - Producing accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Making recommendations for improvements and presenting solutions to management.
- Quality - How do you ensure quality in your work, completing tasks to a high standard and applying yourself to continuously improve your work.
- Planning and organisation - Taking responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines. Positively managing the expectations of colleagues at all levels and setting a positive example for others in the workplace.
- Project Management - Undertaking and leading projects as and when required.

Salary
Up to £18,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from our office in Frating, Essex, up to three days per week.
