Your Mission

The BMG Catalogue is one of the fastest-growing in the global music industry, and this role sits at the heart of that momentum. As part of the Brazil Copyright Team, you’ll play a critical role in championing our songwriters’ success—both locally and on a global scale.

As a key contributor to our publishing operations, you’ll ensure our clients’ music is accurately registered with collecting societies worldwide, while serving as the go-to copyright expert for the region. This is a unique opportunity to directly support creators, protect their work, and help maximize the global reach and value of an industry-leading catalogue.

 

What You’ll Be Doing.

  • Assist with registration, tracking, and maintenance of BMGs global catalogue in Brazil
  • Onboard and process local signings for local and global registration
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and local copyright regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal databases to ensure seamless tracking of copyright information.
  • Streamline workflow processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across the copyright administration team.
  • Assist in the administration of mechanical licenses, ensuring proper licensing terms and compliance.
  • Ensure smooth communication and workflow integration with other key teams.

 

Must Haves.

  • Strong service orientation and project management skills

  • understanding of local copyright rules in music publishing

  • Comfortable with adjusting to evolving priorities and managing expectations of stakeholders at all levels of the organization 

  • Strong communication as well as team working skills and experience in working with international teams 

  • You are committed and have an eye for detail 

  • You like to work independently and reliably 

 

Nice To Haves.

  • Previous expreirence working in music publisher, or record label in an analytical or financial function 
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus 
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) , Spanish is a plus
