As Sr. Director of Country Marketing, you will contribute to this mission by developing Global strategies & innovative approaches in marketing a wide range of country music catalogs. Working with a small team of creative experts, you will develop programs ranging from storytelling- based song campaigns to broader strategies in growing catalogs of songs in close collaboration with BMG’s sales & analytic departments. This includes promoting catalogs in effective ways across various online platforms, using up-to-date social media strategies & engaging content.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing Global strategies for the marketing of a broad range of Country catalogs.
  • Identifying catalog trends in close collaboration with BMG’s analytic department
  • Developing and setting marketing budgets in collaboration with BMG’s finance departments.
  • Devising commercial strategies to maximize marketing opportunities for catalogs.
  • Crafting platform-based campaigns for artists and songs supported by data analytics.
  • Conceiving, planning and executing new approaches to data- driven music catalog marketing.
  • Creating special events and activations to promote artists, releases and tentpole events.
  • Collaborating with BMG’s sales, digital marketing, content creation and other departments to shape cohesive global campaigns.
  • Providing regular updates to artists and partners, as well as internally highlighting areas of growth and emerging trends.
  • Developing strategic growth plans to achieve financial and business targets.
  • Working with brand partnerships team to secure collaborations for artist

 

What You Bring

  • Experience product managing a release (digital and physical) from inception
  • Deep understanding and experience in music platforms/DSPs.
  • Strong contacts within Nashville
  • Relevant non-music industry work experience (e.g., digital agencies, fashion/e-commerce, etc.)
  • Successful track record of leading marketing teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Extensive experience in developing marketing strategies strongly driven by data analytics and MROI considerations.
  • Expertise in cross-platform marketing, with a specific emphasis on impactful social media campaigns.
  • Deep passion and appreciation for iconic country music catalogs and the growing impact of country music globally.
  • A creative and analytical mind with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proven experience and skills with digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Passion for pop culture – you follow trends on TikTok, Meta etc.

Pay Range
$113,000 - $127,000 per annum

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
