In this role, you’ll work to ensure successful registration of BMG repertoire with income sources and the United States Copyright Office.
What You’ll Be Doing.

Regularly reviewing registration data and addressing conflicts at Performing Right Organizations (PROs) and Mechanical Rights Organizations (MROs).

Circulating US signings to societies and DSPs, answering any questions regarding deal structure or the compositions.

Conducting regular registration reviews of songs relating to new agreements, releases, chart activity, and other business priorities.

Collaborating closely with affiliate offices and sub-publishers to ensure global redirection of royalties.

Investigating and resolving registration inquiries from other BMG departments and clients.

Manually registering works on an ad-hoc basis where business priorities require.

Completing and submitting Copyright Registrations to the United States Copyright Office for all BMG-controlled compositions and recordings.
Must Haves.

Demonstrated experience in music publishing, either at a music publisher or rights society.

Fundamental understanding of rights administration and current industry practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves.

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Music Business or a related field.

Experience using a CRM or project management tool (Jira, Salesforce, Monday, etc.).

Familiarity with Youtube CMS or Youtube Catalog management processes.

Knowledge of the global PRO landscape and best practices.

Pay Range
$45,000 – 50,000 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
