Your Mission

As Director of Revenue Assurance, your mission is to safeguard the income of our artists, songwriters, and partners. You will ensure that all revenue streams are tracked accurately and distributed on time. Leveraging your expertise in music rights and data analytics, you will manage high-volume income and usage data, identifying discrepancies and leading investigations to resolve them. By collaborating with income sources and overseeing claims for unpaid royalties, you will optimize our collection processes and ensure fair compensation for our creative partners.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and spearhead the revenue tracking roadmap for GSA and Continental Europe, driving key strategic initiatives across the region.
  • Complex Investigations: Direct complex, cross-functional audits regarding high-impact income tracking cases, ensuring full accountability and successful resolution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary regional authority for Revenue Assurance, liaising with internal departments (A&R, Royalties, Finance) and external partners (CMOs, broadcasters, streaming platforms).
  • Operational Excellence: Refine tracking methodologies to ensure consistency across territories and implement scalable solutions for long-term efficiency.
  • Process Innovation: Champion automation and process improvements to foster a data-driven culture within income tracking and analysis.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Architect comprehensive dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor KPIs, recovery progress, and discrepancies, keeping stakeholders informed with actionable insights.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Revenue Assurance team across multiple territories, fostering high performance and growth.

 

What We Are Looking For 

  • Industry Expertise: Expert-level understanding of global rights and royalty frameworks, with the ability to assess contractual and regulatory impacts across different regions.
  • Proven Experience: A strong track record in leading data-driven investigations and managing high-volume financial datasets.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to drive prioritization strategies at a regional level while ensuring alignment with global company KPIs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with modern analytical tools, platforms, and data architecture.
  • Change Management: A proactive mindset that drives standardization and innovation in data usage.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Experience in navigating cross-functional matrices and engaging stakeholders across regions to ensure strategic delivery and governance.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and external partners.
  • Cultural Fit: A leadership style that promotes innovation, continuous learning, and improvement.
  • Languages: Business fluency in English is required. German is strongly preferred. Additional languages are an asset.
