Job Description


Arvato is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team in Waltham, MA for a three-month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or senior undergraduate student to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources while supporting HR leaders and business initiatives.

The HR Intern will work closely with members of the HR team and provide support across HR policies and documentation, HRIS processes, employee communications, and other projects. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, comfortable working with confidential information, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

YOUR TASKS

  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of employee handbooks, HR policies, and related documentation.
  • Assist with HR policy and compliance projects, including researching information, organizing documentation, and tracking updates.
  • Help develop and document workflows and processes within the HRIS.
  • Support HR team members with data entry, reporting, and other HRIS-related activities.
  • Assist with employee communications, presentations, and other HR communications projects.
  • Provide administrative and project support to HR leaders and business partners.
  • Conduct research and compile information to support various HR initiatives.
  • Help organize and maintain HR documentation and project materials.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • Junior or senior undergraduate student preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Comfortable working onsite in Waltham, MA.
  • Availability to work part-time or full-time during the three-month internship.
