YOUR INTERNSHIP ASSIGNMENT
Depending on your educational background:
Coordination and supervision (Logistics Team Leader, MBO 3):
- Guiding and coordinating logistics activities;
- Monitoring work processes and safety on the shop floor;
- Managing materials, equipment and inventory;
- Supporting the execution and improvement of logistics processes.
Process optimization and leadership (Logistics Supervisor, MBO 4 or Bachelor):
- Overseeing the execution of the overall logistics process and transportation;
- Analyzing and improving work processes;
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Planning capacity and workforce allocation;
- Contributing to employee development, recruitment and selection.
Please note: The examples above are indicative. The final internship assignment will be discussed and agreed upon together with you and your supervisor, taking into account your educational requirements, level, learning objectives and interests, as well as the needs of the department.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are enrolled in a vocational (MBO) program to become a Logistics Team Leader (3) or Logistics Supervisor (4) or you are enrolled in a bachelor’s program related to Logistics or Supply Chain Management;
- You are 18 years or older;
- English is the working language of the team, so proficiency in English is an advantage;
- You have a proactive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team;
- You can set priorities and maintain an overview, even during busy periods;
- You are accurate, safety-conscious and results-oriented;
- You are curious about all aspects of logistics and want to gain experience that will help you in your future career.
