Job Description
Are you ready to take ownership, grow with your team, and actively shape the future of data center operations? Join us as a Teamlead Data Center (m/f/x) at our Mörfelden-Walldorf location and contribute to an environment where collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement are key to success. This position is initially limited to one year, with a strong perspective for long-term development. Are you on it?
- Team Coordination & Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of a team of Data Centre Associates by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and on time.
- Technical Execution & Support: Actively support the installation of server racks, hardware components, and cabling, while guiding the team through more complex technical activities.
- Material & Inventory Management: Organize, inspect, and track incoming materials and equipment while ensuring accurate inventory records and supporting stock checks and replenishment processes.
- Quality, Safety & Processes: Ensure compliance with work instructions, safety standards, and internal procedures while continuously identifying potential improvements.
- Communication & Escalation Management: Serve as the first point of contact for operational topics, communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and resolve challenges in a pragmatic and solution-oriented way.
Qualifications
- Professional Experience: You have experience in logistics, warehouse operations, technical environments, or ideally in data center operations, and have already gained initial leadership experience.
- Organizational Skills & System Affinity: You work in a structured manner, confidently prioritize daily tasks, and are familiar with warehouse, inventory, or operational systems.
- Technical Know-how: You are experienced in handling tools and have a basic understanding of hardware, rack installation, and cabling.
- Language Skills: Very good English skills enable you to communicate confidently in a daily work environment.
- Personality & Soft Skills: You act responsibly, approach challenges proactively, support your team’s development, and stand out with a solution-oriented, communicative, and customer-focused mindset.
