Arvato is seeking a hands-on and self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the proactive and preventative facility maintenance across our facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be able to leverage your knowledge and experience in facilities management and work cross-functionally to maximize equipment and facility resources while meeting safety and budget requirements. This role is open to providing relocation assistance for candidates who are not in the Shepherdsville / Louisville, KY area.
YOUR TASKS
- Supervise, guide, and assign projects to supervisors, project engineers, and engineering technicians relating to the engineering, development, maintenance and special projects of all machinery and equipment
- Be responsible for overseeing all vendors on property, negotiating with vendors to reduce overhead costs, and any facility-related repairs and general upkeep
- Delegate work projects for the improvement of efficiency and reliability of equipment used in operations
- Maintain equipment PM records and lead in reducing the downtime of equipment
- Assist and/or lead in research and development of new products, processes, or CAPEX projects
- Develop and modify equipment to meet the department’s production, quality, or layout requirements
- Vendors include, but not limited to, housekeeping, recycling, trash, and miscellaneous day-to-day requirements
- Assist in new building selection and fit out to meet Arvato specifications
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 5 years in a Facilities Manager role or similar experience
- Must possess a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience supervising others
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to work long hours, including overtime if needed
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
