Do you want to lead logistics implementation projects in an international 3PL environment where technology and automation play an important role?

As a Project Manager at Arvato, you lead implementation projects ranging from new customer operations to launching full warehouse sites, including processes, systems and automation (for example Autostore, shuttle systems and highbay warehouses). You are responsible for delivering projects successfully within scope, timeline and budget.

You work at the intersection of operations, engineering and IT, including warehouse mechanization and system integrations.

YOUR ROLE

As a Project Manager, you lead implementation projects from start to go-live. You coordinate different workstreams and make sure teams, stakeholders and suppliers work together effectively.


Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading implementation projects such as new warehouse sites, customer implementations and warehouse automation;
  • Managing multidisciplinary project teams with multiple workstream leads;
  • Monitoring project planning, scope and budget;
  • Identifying and managing operational, technical and commercial risks and escalations;
  • Reporting to and advising the steering committee;

You work closely with operations, engineering, IT and external suppliers and act as the main contact for customers during implementations.

You report to the Head of Logistics Engineering and work in a team of experienced project professionals responsible for logistics implementations within Arvato.


Qualifications


 

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in logistics implementations within a 3PL environment.

You also recognize yourself in the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical or logistics field;
  • At least 5 years of experience with implementation projects in large 3PL warehouses;
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Prince2;
  • Experience with warehouse mechanization and/or IT integrations is a strong plus;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (customers, suppliers and internal teams);
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus);
  • You are decisive, resilient and results-driven.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with warehouse automation systems such as Autostore, shuttle or highbay.
