Job Description


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President Consumer Products to lead and grow Arvato’s Consumer Products vertical across the United States. This executive role is responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, leading commercial strategy, and overseeing operational performance across one or more large fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate brings deep 3PL, e-commerce, omnichannel fulfillment, and P&L leadership experience, with the ability to shape strategy, develop teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced global environment.

YOUR TASKS

  • Set the strategic direction for Arvato’s Consumer Products business unit in the United States, with a focus on profitable growth, operational excellence, and long-term customer success.
  • Own business unit performance, including P&L management, annual budget planning, financial execution, account profitability, and growth targets.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define sales targets, commercial priorities, and marketing strategies that support expansion within the consumer products segment.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations, RFQ responses, and strategic customer engagement meetings.
  • Manage and grow relationships with clients across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, sports, and related consumer product segments.
  • Guide account, operations, and service delivery leaders to ensure strong day-to-day execution, achievement of financial objectives, and delivery against client SLAs.
  • Support customer escalations and serve as a senior point of contact to resolve complex business, operational, or service issues.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Service Delivery, IT, Finance, Controlling, Customs/Trade, Transportation, and other internal stakeholders to support successful implementations and ongoing operations.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop teams while creating clarity, accountability, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee operations in line with company goals, ensuring efficient, safe, compliant, and goal-oriented work environments.

 


    Qualifications


    YOUR PROFILE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business, or a related field required, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Advanced degree such as an MBA, M.S., M.D., or Ph.D. preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of business leadership and P&L ownership experience, including executive-level sales or commercial leadership experience.
    • Experience in third-party logistics, supply chain solutions, e-commerce fulfillment, omnichannel operations, transportation, warehouse/distribution, ERP or logistics systems, customer relations, compliance, and budget management.
    • Proven experience managing e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment operations for consumer products, retail, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, sports, or similar industries.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience leading large teams and developing leaders in a matrixed global organization.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
    • Strategic, analytical, and financially disciplined mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into operational execution and measurable results.
