Using your EHS background and knowledge you will conduct trainings and coaching associates on observed work habits, maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams, conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions, identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits. Completing these responsibilities you'll facilitate incident investigation process and maintain required paperwork to comply with Arvato and OSHA regulations.
Your Tasks

Responsible for promoting a positive safety culture, comply with corporate safety standards and maintain a safe working environment, inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.

Conduct trainings and coaching associates on observed work habits, perform safety observations & audits, train and assist others to complete their safety responsibilities (Audits, Follow Safety Rules, etc.) and perform specific safety training as required by the Compliance Manager.
Your Profile
-
3+ years in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field
-
Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
-
Experienced in emergency response

Currently holds First aid and CPR certificates

Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses

Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment skills
